         Donald R.Troxel(Donnie Troxel) age 67 of Georgetown IL, passed away on February 18th,2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 25th,1958 In Danville IL to Wilburt Troxel and Evangeline Murias. Donnie grew up in Danville IL and worked as a truck driver until he retired. On October 29th,2016 he married Tammy Hutson In Georgetown IL. Together they shared 10 years of marriage and built a life centered on love and devotion for one another. Donnie in his free time enjoyed fixing things, watching his favorite TV shows with his wife, and the one thing he loved the most was spending time with his grandkids and family. All those who knew Donnie will remember him by his passion that he had in life, the willingness to help anyone in need, his unique personality, and also his bright smile. Donnie showed us what true courage and heart looks like no matter how hard it gets. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Tammy Troxel and his 3 sisters Michaleen Fleming, Brenda Kerrigan, and Christine Brant, a daughter Jessica (Allan) Williams, 3 stepchildren Chad (Alex) Johnson, Amber Peterson, and Robert (Jocelynn) Johnson, and also his 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Evangeline Troxel, his 2 brothers Steven and James, and his grandson Skylan Johnson. A celebration of life in Donnie's remembrance will be held at a later date.
