Lana Warren, 60, of Danville, Illinois, passed
away peacefully at her home, surrounded by
her loving family, on Monday, July 13, 2026,
at 4:54 a.m. After a courageous battle with
pancreatic cancer, Lana demonstrated
remarkable strength, resilience, and
determination, fighting with grace until the
very end.
Lana was born on May 2, 1966, at Lakeview
Memorial Hospital in Danville, Illinois, to Virgil
and Goldie (Miller) Meeker, who preceded her
in death. She was also preceded in death by
her sister, Lisa Baldwin; her sister-in-law,
Michelle Meeker; her maternal grandparents,
Cecil Miller and Oline (Johnson) McCrone;
and her paternal grandmother, Grace (Watts)
Meeker.
Lana is survived by her husband, David
Warren. She leaves behind her loving
children: Ashley (Brian Parish) Warren,
Anthony (April Estes) Warren, Jennifer (Ellis)
Mack, Cassie Warren, and Tiffany Warren.
She was a proud and devoted grandmother to
16 grandchildren, each of whom brought
immeasurable joy to her life.
She is also survived by her siblings: Lori
Meeker, Raymond Meeker, Linda (Steven)
Coon, Howard Meeker, and Teresa (Dustin
DeMoss) Meeker, as well as many nieces,
nephews, extended family members, and dear
friends who will cherish her memory.
Lana will be remembered for her unwavering
love for her family, her compassionate heart,
and her enduring strength. She faced every
challenge with courage, dignity, and grace,
inspiring everyone who had the privilege of
knowing her. Her greatest joy was spending
time with those she loved, and the legacy of
her kindness, love, and resilience will
continue to live on in the hearts of her family
and friends.
Though she will be deeply missed, Lana's
love and the memories she created will
remain a lasting source of comfort to all
whose lives she touched.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 20,
2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at
Vermilion Valley Vineyard, 3733 Poolside
Drive, Danville, Illinois 61832. The funeral
service will immediately follow the visitation,
with a dinner and time of fellowship
afterward. We’re asking everyone to wear
blue, as it was my mother's favorite color.
